Whether you’re here for cozy evenings by the fire, slow mornings with a cup of coffee on the screened porch, or quiet creative work with nature as your muse, this thoughtfully designed retreat feels like home before you arrive.

The space

At the heart of Timber & Glass is an open-concept great room where soaring vaulted ceilings, warm timber accents, and walls of glass — signature features of Gnarly Homes’ design — pull the forest into every corner. The living, dining, and kitchen areas flow without doors — perfect for lingering breakfasts and fireside conversations that stretch well into the night. Large panoramic windows capture views of the tree canopy and distant hills, making this a place made for being present.

Upstairs, the loft bedroom is more than a sleeping space — it’s a place to move, stretch, or practice yoga. Ashley describes it as “like walking into a really old cathedral with huge ceilings and intricate design. You feel so small, but you feel so big. It just feels incredible… I’m awestruck every time I go up there.” Two additional bedrooms on the main level offer restful nights and forest views from every window. Each space is curated with comfort and simplicity in mind, with natural materials, soft linens, and thoughtfully chosen furnishings that feel effortlessly warm.
